“An Evening with Paradosi” and Paradosi HDC’s 2nd Anniversary Gala (Toronto, ON)
Road Trip! To show our support for our friends in Paradosi HDC, we headed to Toronto for their second anniversary weekend. With live folkloric music and a dance troupe from Greece, it was a memorable weekend.

The gals from Paradosi HDC made their way down to Ottawa to help expand our Thracian dances. We could have stayed there all day, but alas, all good things come to an end. Thanks for your help, Dora, Debbie, and Stacey!

We were lucky
enough to have Gloria and Christos attend Kyriakos Moisidis Dance Seminar.
Christos and Gloria had a blast and next year are hoping to get a couple members from
the Odyssey Dance Troupe to attend these conferences, its a great time to learn
new dances and meet fellow dancers from across the world!

Greek Festival (Sudbury, ON)
The Odyssey Dance Troupe represented the Hellenic Community of Ottawa at the
Greek Festival of Sudbury!
We had a great time and special thanks to Kr. Nikos, Gregg & Suzanne, and Maria
for everything.

GreekFest- The Hellenic Community of Ottawa (Ottawa, ON)
We had a blast! Our three rotating suites were from the regions of
Thrace, North East Aegean and Dodecanese.

September 2005
The year kicks off...
Well now that the summer is over its time to resume our practices. This year Odyssey has grown bigger and better with the arrival of 8 new dancers! We welcome everyone to the dance group and we look forward to kicking your butts in practice!
October 2005
The Sudbury workshop
On Saturday, October 22nd, Christos headed to Sudbury to assist in diversifying the repertoire of the local Greek dance groups. Two tutorials were set up in order to focus on both the younger generation, and then the older more experienced dancers. The hospitality of the Sudbury Hellenic Community was very much appreciated, along with the hosting and friendships of Jenny M. and Chris H.! Fun was had by all, and strong ties are being formed! Look out for great things from Sudbury!
