Independence Day Dance and Parade (Ottawa, ON)

Every year the Hellenic Community of Ottawa does a big dinner dance on Saturday and than a Parade on Sunday where Odyssey and the Dance school participates!

Klironimia Hellenic Folklore in Canada – University of Toronto (Scarborough, ON)

We always love attending this conference. We have made many wonderful friendships over the years, and have learned so much. The 2006 conference can’t come any sooner! 

• June 2004

Carnival of Cultures – Astrolabe Theatre (Ottawa, ON)

 A windy day for an outdoor festival, but we managed! This performance focused on women’s dances from various areas of Greece. 

• July 1st 2004

“Cultures Galore” Canada Day – Confederation Park (Ottawa, ON)

 When we first started our performance, we could feel that we were hitting our marks and were about to have a fantastic show! Unfortunately Mother Nature decided that that was the exact time for a torrential downpour! Luckily the performance stage was covered. We had a great time talking to the spectators while we waited for the rain to subside. Thanks to Stavro for his pre-performance workshop.

GreekFest – Hellenic Community of Ottawa (Ottawa, ON) 

Yet another successful festival! We had a blast! Our three rotating suites were from the regions of Macedonia, Thessaly/Epiros, Thrace.  Some of our dancers participated in the ever popular Zorba show. Congratulations to all!

Project Hellas – Centrepointe Theatre (Ottawa, ON) 

We performed a suite from Epiros and Thessaly, as well as one from the Aegean Islands.
